# Set the tier bands

> Set where each tier starts for this workspace. Values run from 1 to 100 and must descend. Send `{ "reset": true }` to go back to the defaults. The bands apply to tiers Nous derives and to external scores sent without a tier. An account counts as a fit from the Tier 2 band up.

Sets the score where each tier starts. The defaults are 85, 70, and 50.

| Tier | Default band | The play |
| - | - | - |
| `tier_1` | 85 to 100 | Work by hand |
| `tier_2` | 70 to 84 | Queue to automation |
| `tier_3` | 50 to 69 | Nurture |
| `not_icp` | Below 50 | Suppress |

The bands apply to tiers OpenNous derives and to external scores you send without a `tier`. Send `{ "reset": true }` to go back to the defaults. An account counts as a fit from the Tier 2 band up. Read the current bands with `GET /v2/icp/tiers`.
